2009 was another successful year for our chapter. Some of the highlights included:
Membership grew by 6.7% to 307 members locally. Globally ISACA has nearly 100K members
178 members are certified including 140 CISA, 30 CISM & 8 CGEIT
Strong financial position with a small surplus (compared to loss last year) on 33% lower turnover
10 technical sessions including some jointly with CPA & AISA
Intro and advanced IS audit training courses
Successful value management forum in August 2009 – excellent feedback from 120 top execs attending
Your Board’s focus for 2010 remains on adding value to you as members through:
Certification,
Continuing professional education
Strategic alliances with other professional associations and tertiary institutions
Promoting the ISACA brand in the Brisbane market to create employment and business opportunities.

CACS in Brisbane in Sep 2011
